Hola amigos! Sorry for the absence. I have missed you all. And hasn’t our world altered since my last post. Brexit discussion anyone? Now are we all happy with Theresa May being appointed PM? Are we worried that the border will close and that M&S will hike up their prices to such a degree we… Read More Erm… Hi. Yeah I haven’t died.
Yesterday a friend and I went for a stroll to the South of Gibraltar. All the way to Europa Point, with a couple of stops along the way. The weather was perfect and the company great 🙂
January 1st. The temperature was 20 degrees and the sunshine was so bright. We went for a lovely walk down to Rosia Bay, where people (who were braver than me) were actually swimming in the sea! After last night it was so nice to have some quiet. Whilst we did go down to Casemates Square… Read More Happy New Year!
Our final stop on our trip was Tarifa. We had lunch, saw the beach, wandered the streets and ate cake. You know, the usual kind of afternoon when you are on holiday! Needless to say we had a great time. As we drove into Tarifa Mr BOTR spotted these amazing bits of street art that… Read More Tarifa with Dad
Our first stop on our day trip drive along the coast was Bolonia. Now we didn’t explore anywhere new on this trip, but to be honest Bolonia is just a beautiful place to go and visit regardless. On Wednesday night there were secret discussions on what activity to do the following day. Since moving here we have been asked numerous times if we wanted to take part in a dolphin tour. Now I like dolphins. Not in that strangely obsessive ‘I want to swim with them way’ that some people get. But… Read More Dolphin Tour
I’ve just returned from a lovely walk down to Rosia Bay. It is the only ‘beach’ area that allows dogs. There was a huge Rottweiler swimming after a tennis ball. He was just the sweetest dog ever. A giant who sniffed at the pup I was with and then decided he was way more interested… Read More Beachy…
I’ve been a bit lazy of late. I have hardly taken the camera out of its bag. But I was just skimming through my pictures from a walk I took a couple of weeks ago and decided to share this one. It taken from the road below St. Michaels Cave. And I just love how… Read More Just looking…
When I woke up today the sky was a bright crystal clear blue. As the morning rolled on, or should I say, as I rolled (on the bus) towards Europa Point the sky became somewhat muddled. The Levante cloud, was it that? I don’t know. A ‘cloud’ or fog of some description rolled in from… Read More And the mist rolled in…
Morocco today from Little Bay in Gibraltar. The weather right now is my favourite kind. Hot enough to feel it, but not so hot that you are dripping sweat. Ew. It was just gloriously warm, so a late afternoon walk was called for…. This was our view 🙂
