How are you all?
The weather here has been crazy. While I am so I am glad we are no longer sweating, now we are soaked from the rain. It has been relentless. The first winter we saw here it was like someone had switched on a hose pipe over Gibraltar for three months. I warn you folks, we may well need gills if this carries on! It hasn’t been raining a normal amount, and nobody is going to convince me otherwise. I leave our mop buckets on the balcony, after one afternoon of rain the bucket was full, I feel that at night I should actually wear arm bands and put the cat in a flotation device just in case we end up in the sea! But as annoying as these downpours are they offer up some amazing clouds and the occasional rainbow. Silver linings and all that jazz!
Last weekend I was over in the UK, Mr BOTR is actually flying home today; he hasn’t been over for ages so he had nearly two weeks with family and friends catching up. We popped over to see my family and whilst I adore spending time with my family, the lure of my mums kitten Bonnie is really what keeps me coming back! 😉 Isn’t she just adorable?!
I just want to commend the UK for its amazing autumn colours. I miss autumn so much. It really is my favourite season of the year, and here well, whilst we get lovely long days and warm evenings we don’t get all those beautiful reds, gold’s, and browns. As soon as I opened my eyes on Thursday morning last week I was blown away by the colours. Then I went outside and within a few minutes I couldn’t feel my hands so I remembered why I left! Lol.
Whilst I was over in England I cricked my neck. So since my return I haven’t been to the gym, which has made my week a very TV, relaxing, reading and resting one! I feel so lazy, although Mr Peanut has been loving having me at home all day.
It has been so bizarre not being able to move properly. Hopefully next week I shall be a lot better as I have my second appointment with my osteopath, I need to get back to the gym. Christmas food is fast approaching; special offer chocolates are calling to me from every shop I visit, and the cakes, oh goodness the fruit cakes are so hard to resist!
So instead of rambling on and on with the minutiae of my life I shall leave you all with some sunset pictures from this week. I just realized how long it has been since my last post. My bad. Resolution number one for 2017 set a calendar date for blogging!
