Insomnia isn’t always bad…

Awake from before the crack of dawn the other morning, sunrise was witnessed first hand. It never ceases to amaze me how light playing on a surface can change the way a familiar thing looks. The morning in question was warm and bright, with just a hint of misty goodness, and several thousand swallows. Mr Peanut can testify to this. Sitting in the window cackling. So. Many. Birds.

I love how the Atlas mountains take on a dusty pink glow and how the shadows are facing the other way… Lets face it I rarely see them like this, I am not a morning person!

We are so lucky to be able to look out of a window and see this view. It never gets old. The landscape in Gibraltar always seems to be changing. Whether these are changes that you approve of or not, even a crane can look ‘pretty’ with the light bouncing off of it.

Same as the buildings across the bay…

Anyway after that early morning, I need some rest! 😀
