A sort of sunrise

I was up early today (well early for me anyway). Now our view of sunrise is extremely limited. It isn’t just the apartment building opposite that blocks it, but also a rather large chunk of limestone known as the Rock of Gibraltar. However today as we have a bit of Levante cloud hanging about I got an idea of how pink and orange the sky must have been on the eastern side of Gib. The light of the rising sun caught the cloud and made what I could see of it look rather lovely. I wasn’t the only ‘person’ to admire it, the seagulls were also out enforce, flying around and squawking. I am sure it was the cloud they were enjoying and not seeing off one of the massive vultures I have seen flapping about recently…
