Runway 2014 – News!

So today I picked up my tickets! They are already selling fast so don’t delay getting yours! With numbered seating this time around you will have your place marked all night!!

With one designer already confirmed I am really starting to get excited about Runway 2014. MariusPetrus an Antwerp based menswear designer who has worked with Raf Simons, Alexander McQueen and is now part of the team at Wrangler Europe has changed the playing field somewhat. We’ve had designers who cater for women, and some that cater for both men and women, but I believe this is our first ‘purely’ menswear designer to show at Runway, which means this event should definitely appeal to the gents out there who love fashion. (Runway team, please correct me if I am wrong!)

I have had a quick look at the latest lookbook on the MariusPetrus website and I am loving the geometric monochrome prints and the tailoring. I can’t wait to see these designs in the flesh!

Again like last years Runway, Marble Arc (a local boutique) will once again have their ‘styling booth’ open, so you can style up their models and be entered into a competition to win a huge voucher to spend in store. Which could come in very handy with summer around the corner!

For the creative types amongst us, the entry into the new designer competition closes on the 14th of March. So if you think you have what it takes, check out the Runway website for details.

For those of you who are blessed with tall and gorgeous genes there are still modelling slots open! If you are a male over 184cm in height or a female over 174cm in height and would like to walk on the Runway catwalk, please email your photos and measurements to Your applications need to be in before 31st March when a final casting will be held in Gibraltar!

Right that’s it for now…
