Architecture in Gib # 03 – The Moorish Castle

The Moorish Castle is one of the most distinct landmarks in Gibraltar, and as the country has grown it has been surrounded by many generations of buildings. I love how it sits on the side of the rock, quite stubbornly, quite proud. A remnant of times gone by. We are aiming to go for a wander up the rock in the next few weeks, as it has been a few months since our last walk up there, I will endeavour to get some pictures of the view, as they are quite spectacular from that vantage point. These pictures are taken from Europort Avenue and Casemates.

    1. Those photos are great! I have been in there and looked at the view, but now I have my new camera I want to go back and capture it again! Those stairs make me feel sick, I got half way down and my legs stopped knowing what to do!
