Architecture in Gib #1

The buildings here really vary. We have the Moorish castle, old churches and some modern structures. Some are aesthetically challenging. But I guess that is a matter of opinion… These two buildings are some of the first you see when entering Gib from the frontier. I don’t know why they appeal to me so much, but I think it is the late 60’s early 70’s architecture that just makes me smile. It is true they could bother do with a spruce up. I am almost certain that a lick of paint would improve them no end. But even though they could do with a little care, I still love the lines and the structure of them. What do you think?

    1. Thank you! I really do love that building though. I know a lot of improvements are being made on government housing in Gibraltar and I am really hoping these buildings are on that list! The view must be so good from Referendum House!
